Georges Seurat was a French post-impressionist artist who was famous for pioneering the distinctive painting technique known as pointillism. His most famous work, A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte, featuring many people sitting and enjoying a day at the park, is found at the Art Institute of Chicago. This model is particularly well-suited for Seurat's favorite subjects of boats, beaches, seasides, sailing, and so on, and it handles people pretty well too.
