<p>"Frottage" is an artistic technique, consisting of placing some paper over any rough surface then rubbing it with pencils or pastels, to recreate the impression of its texture. <em>For some reason the default model when asked to does not generate a meaningful effect. </em>A large number of interesting effects can be achieved - blending from surreal to pure abstraction.</p>
